A fun and versatile sports course with ball sports in focus. Training, trips, games and competitions. Perfect for you who never got enough gym classes at school! In February we go to a training camp in Fuerteventura.
Joy - community - mastery
Did you never get enough activity and ball games in gym class at school? Get ready for a year of sports enjoyment, development and challenges. Sometimes stubborn effort and straining sweat. Other times close duels and shivering excitement. Sometimes victory, other times loss. But still always a little cheer, laughter, well-being and happy smiles.
The sporting focus is on ball sports and versatility. But the goal is for you to develop as a person and athlete, and experience joy of activity, community and mastery. Throughout the year, you will also gain some experience as an instructor, organizer, official and referee.
Training camp on Fuerteventura
Together with a couple of other classes, Ball sports goes on a training camp to Las Playitas, Fuerteventura. Playitas Resort is one of Europe's largest and best centers for training and activity. We want some joint activity, but will try to play a lot of beach volleyball. In addition, there will be the opportunity for surfing. Check out the Playitas website!

Skiing week in Oppdal
In February the whole school will travel to the Oppdal ski resort. We are gonna live in cabins at IMI-Stølen which has a lot of good facilities and cozy rooms!
Here we will have a good time skiing and relaxing in the cabins afterwards. A lot of proficient instructors will accompany us and you will get lessons that suit your skiing level. We offer classes in alpine and telemark skiing as well as snowboarding and cross country skiing.
Your main class at Høgtun will be taught three days of the week. In addition you can choose electives for the remaining two days. Read more about our electives here.
To be able to participate at the course, you need some equipment, but you will come a long way with regular training clothes and some hiking equipment. You will find a complete list of equipment here.
Teacher: Idar Remmereit
Idar is a trained teacher in physical education from the Norwegian Sports Academy. Although Idar has gradually become a grown man, he is still playful, agile and curious. Has a great sense of informal competitions, games and quizzes. Can't resist: Chocolate, coffee and cakes - and matches with Molde Football Club.
