Sports Disc Golf > Equipment List

Equipment list

You need a backpack for day trips. A good bag is enough for the overnight trips we go on. It must be large enough to accommodate a sleeping bag, sleeping mat and necessary clothing for the trip.

Backpack

You must have a three-season sleeping bag. This means that it should be comfortable to sleep with outdoors in temperatures down to zero degrees. Foam sleeping pads work well and insulate well from the ground.

Sleeping bag and sleeping mat

You will need a small first aid kit with sports tape, chafing plasters, plasters/bandages, scissors, etc.
The teacher brings ice packs to the sports activity in case of injury.

First aid and safety

You need good gym shoes for indoor ball activities and training. You will also need good sneakers for outdoor training. Waterproof sneakers for hiking and disc golf.

Shoes

You'll need training clothes for all kinds of weather, both indoors and outdoors, including waterproof and windproof clothing for hiking.
You'll also need two sets of wool underwear and wool socks. It's also a good idea to have a warm down jacket, wool sweater or similar.

Clothing

You will need a water bottle. You will also need a headlamp, lunch set, thermos, sunglasses and sunscreen.

If you have a racket for various racket sports, a floorball stick, ice hockey stick or your own hockey skates, we recommend that you bring this with you.

Other

You should have your own discs to go this route. A minimum is a selection of discs that include a putter, mid-range, fairway driver and distance driver. You will also need a “mini” and a suitable backpack to carry your equipment in when playing. You should also have a large umbrella.
